The Borough of Dumont has been requesting the assistance of the Bergen County Road Department in trying to identify the source of the flooding issues along Washington Avenue, a county road. The Borough has been notified the County will, at no cost to the Borough, inspect the storm sewer line along Washington Avenue from Gordan Avenue to New York Avenue. The inspection will consist of video taping the line using a new video truck recently put in service. The line is approximately 2,000 linear feet and will be done after 11:00pm in order to lessen the traffic impact.
