The 5K was won by one of Dumont’s own, 21-year-old Brian Lang. The activities fully got underway after the race, and included numerous inflatable amusements for children, pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, vendors, food, live entertainment from the stage, informational booths, and more. The day culminated later that evening with spectacular fireworks at Dumont High School, underscored by the sounds of the Saddle River Valley Concert Band, serenading the crowd with show tunes and patriotic music. |
