 Pictured: Dumont’s 11 year old team taking a victory lap around the field after winning the District 4 Division Championships on Tuesday, July 24th with a 9-2 victory over Bergenfield.Team members are: Bryan Burd, Patrick Doherty, Tommy LaCoppola, Michael DiGirolamo, Avery Oliver, Conner McKeary, James Heaney, Anthony Hoagland, Jimmy Brennan, Jamie Mancuso, Nicholas Zatta, Timmy King, and Ryan Linder. The team manager is Rich Burd, and coaches are Sal LaCoppola and Pat McKeary. This team, coaches, parents, and grandparents represented Dumont with their talent, heart, soul and sportsmanship. Congratulations, your town is so proud of you! To all of the Little League District Teams and Little League traveling teams, their coaches, and parents: thank you for going out there and representing your town. For all the parents who worked in the Tiki Hut over the Manning Tournament, thank you. Special thanks to Janet Galligan for getting things up and running, auxiliary ladies Joann O’Rouke, Daria McCabe, Mary Youmatzou for keeping things running smoothly, and Frank Massella for organizing and scheduling all the parent volunteers for the hut. |
